I'm a veteran, I will NOT be wearing a poppy. We should be ashamed that our relatives fought and died to stop tyranny and right now, today, we just let it manifest without lifting a finger to stop it.
Hi Steve, I'm glad an ex soldier has pointed this out. I've been thinking for a while, here comes November and we will be told again how our ancestors died so we can live in a free country LOL. I remember a mate of mine saying "We used to be honest the Ministry of defence used to be called The War Department" But since the 2nd World war we have been fighting all over the World for big corporations. So I am a Pacifist. Something else came to mind this morning, I'm not a lawyer, but I looked up the meaning of manslaughter and I think the Government are guilty of this. People will end dying in their thousands because of their ridiculous policies.
Thanks for your support. Take a look at the Anti terrorism laws. Article2.1. It fits what is going on entirely. Spreading fear amongst the population etc. The government are breaking their own laws.
Give us the means! yeah. Use our training against them. Use it to defend ourselves instead of doing what we were told by cowardly politicians, without question. I am so up for that.
its almost worth designing and selling something similar to the poppy, but not the poppy and with a back message of stating that millions died for our "current" freedoms and they are just being given up without even questioning. I'd buy one. Until the forces, ex and current, stand up against the tyranny, i for the first time ever will not contribute in any way to the poppy fund
@J G it’s an extremely emotive subject. Many ex forces are standing up but silenced like the many. Unfortunately we (forces personnel) are trained to follow orders without much scrutiny. I didn’t realise the nonsense of our fake wars etc for a good number of years after I left. 🤷🏼♂️
@C.R.M Me too! thats the brainwashing wearing off. That also when the PTSD starts kicking in, when you start to realise what you have been involved in.
That could be a really excellent idea, is there time to do this you think? Might be time if this could be easily made yourself? I am going to give this some serious thought - my work productivity is fairly dreadful anyway
@stevehabberley me too. I stopped wearing poppies a few years back as it felt like utter hypocrisy. I do go out of my way to help the old boys when I can but refuse this fake symbol

Just find a way to arm us and point us in the direction you want us to go and maybe we’ll give it one more try 😆
"Many ex forces are standing up but silenced like the many". I Hear that. We need to make all these people heard, the louder the better.
