While the handful of replies keep trickling in from the previous emails to the MPs, I am considering writing to ALL the 798 members of the House of Lords as well. After all, we pay them, they make up parliament, debate and vote as well. Also, they would have to respond as they cannot argue about the letter not coming from their "constituency". Am I missing something? Any comments. Also, I cannot find a full list of their e-mails for easy download like for MPs.
Regards

A decent reply for a change. "The stupidity of governments should never be underestimated "(Helmut Schmidt, German Chancellor):

I understand and accept your position on the issue at hand. You may not be aware of this, but MPs in general have an annoying habit of skipping around questions whenever they are confronted whether long or short letters, therefore, I decided, having done my homework on such an important matter, to provide the facts with supporting evidence followed by a set of simple questions. It did not seem to have helped. We only received template letters in response. However, I/We would be grateful if you would, kindly, answer some of the questions posed as they would/should have no impact on your views. I have repeated them below. [1a] Were you aware that, on the 23 March 2020, at the 2nd reading of the Coronavirus Act 2020, Matt Hancock, the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, lied to parliament when he made the following statement to the House of Commons that “Coronavirus is the most serious public health emergency that has faced the world in a century” ? I am not aware that the Secretary of State lied and think that this may be a bit a strong statement. He may not have given as much information as you would have liked. [7b] Why has PHE not provided a Risk Assessment Report on the use of masks? I would have liked to see a Risk Assessment Report. Sadly the PHE are overwhelmed with the current pandemic and the Government have not supported them as they should. PHE do far more in the community than they are currently being given credit for. [15] Will you and your family be prepared to be among the first to take the vaccine when it becomes available? That is an entirely personal decision and not one which I feel appropriate to share with others. [16] Why has PHE mandated DNR orders for all patients and residents above the age of 60 (45 in Scotland) and ALL patients with a mental and/or physical impediment, regardless of age, without prior consent from the patient and/or next of kin? I think you have been misinformed. PHE has not ‘mandated’ DNR orders for all patients over 60. Where DNRs are in place which have been drawn up by patients, and their families know of their wishes, I believe these should be implemented where there is no hope of recovery. Also, can you tell me why the Government or the NHS would want to inflate the Covid19 death figures by recording people as dying of something they have not actually died of? Again I think you have been misinformed. There is no benefit whatsoever in inflating Covid 19 death rates. I am surprised you should think that MPs who are extremely busy both in Parliament and in their Constituencies should reply to your extremely long and detailed email. You would have been much more likely to get a response if you had kept it short and sweet and only asked a couple of questions. I have voted on numerous occasions for measures that I believe would keep the public safe. The Covid 19 virus is extremely virulent and is on the rise again as we enter winter. If I am unlucky enough to catch it, I will probably be one of the people who will die due to my age and pre-existing medical conditions. I am extremely unhappy at the restriction that have been put on my lifestyle as a result of having to try and control the spread of the virus. However, I will continue to obey the rules set by Parliament in order to keep myself, my family and other people safe. I expect other members of society to do the same. I have put all the replies received today 29th October 2020
from the "lords" in this attachment for easy reading.
I’m hopeful the quiet majority is rising up, aided by George Galloway. I trust him on his one agenda to save the Union and expose the Nationalists shocking mismanagement of Scotland. I’ve been in Scotland 8 years, what’s surprised me the most is the incompetence of the opposition. All on a gravy train, quality of politicians is woeful. George is changing all that, in the few months he’s been around, Unionists have the confidence to speak out. He has attracted some high quality candidates in Alliance4Unity.
Kate Hoey does seem a good bet. As for Scotland, if the Globalists win, then Scotland can say a long good-bye to independence! One in the eye for Sturgeon - maybe that would be a good place to stir things up. I think she genuinely believes she can get independence.
Politicians use the ‘only in their constituency’ as a get out. If they felt strongly enough they would reply. I have Philippa Whitford as my MP, a Nationalist, when I moved to Scotland I respected her position and attempted to put my points forward on various issues, all I got in reply was total arrogance. I now realise that I’m a Unionist so I’m not represented by SNP. The lady is a doctor but not very ‘bright‘that combined with arrogance and Nationalistic dogma is a scary combination. I digress, I have been in frequent email correspondence with Desmond Swayne. He has never quoted the constituency rule. Regarding the Lords, maybe attempt to touch base with Kate Hoey or Claire Fox, both very vocal on Freedom
