An email I sent to my MP, may I suggest everyone sends it to theirs. Edited to suit.
Good morning,
In light of the article linked here-from, can you please explain why we are testing for Covid in the manner, number and criteria we are? Can you please formulate a response and inquire of Matt Hancock why, in the face of such an article by the eminent Professor Carl Heneghan, the government has not altered the testing regime to ensure we are not forming current policy on clearly flawed testing measures.
I do not expect any serious response, as responses to date have often taken the form of generic cut and paste repetition of press release drafted current policy. One can however, live in hope. My purpose is to alert you to an issue that is afflicting the whole nation in the hope it may stir you to investigate, discuss the issue with Prof Heneghan, ask the pertinent questions on behalf of those who elected you and who you represent, then make a true and effective response.
Current policy is devastating lives, destroying public freedoms, and destroying our economy. Hence, I believe, as no doubt you do, that it is a matter worthy of your consideration.
I wait in hope thanking you for your kind attention to this most urgent of national matters
Sincerely
That is excellent. Thank you v much. I will send a similar letter to my MP.
