For my town of independent shops I know from previous campaigns that it is impossible to get the business owners involved in any campaign even if it is in the interest of their own businesses.
They are by nature conservative and don't want to antagonise any customers. From talking to some of them, it is obvious that they have no idea about the legal position on masks including the exemptions.
The KBF flyers are fantastic but I feel very strongly that I need to put some work in to raise the knowledge and understanding of the business owners first. Also an approach of encouraging them to decide for themselves rather than straight campaigning would be more productive.
I would like to propose a simple informational sheet about masks for businesses as a supplement to the flyers, e.g. like the stuff on the laworfiction website. I am happy to draft something. Is is possible that the KBF legal team can check it, and that it can be produced using the KBF branding?
I am happy to contribute financially and to distribute locally. Any thoughts out there? I know the legal position can change at short notice so the content of an information sheet may need to wait a few days.
