There were hundreds of thousands there at least. Anywhere from 250,000 to 1.3 million depending on who you believe. The police put it at 17,000 but that's nonsense of course.
There has been a massive disinformation campaign against the organisers in the run up to the demo. However a lot of Germans appear to be waking up. Not the ones I work with though unfortunately.

This is so heartening, but I'm losing hope by the day. Wish our fellow Brits would wake up :(
