Greetings KBF friends and colleagues.
I was hoping my KBF long sleeve t shirt would arrive but no sign yet.
Anyway despite living in the delightful hamlet of Rustington, West Sussex - London is my town.
Proudly born and bred in Camberwell - South East.
Rustington is great because we do not do the Covid here and is pure escapism from the big smoke.
I am extremely lucky to have a job and I travel to London every day which I love.
Sadly I cannot say the same thing for many friends and indeed my own family who are currently out of work.
And that is why I am so motivated to work with KBF - to stop this madness and help get those who want to work get back to work.
Make Small Business Great Again - AND STOP SUPPORTING THE CORPORATIONS.
You would not recognise London these days,
Buildings and cranes so visible in the smog haze.
Estates and blocks pulled down,
The residents just left to frown.
We need to build more that you cannot afford,
So we can sell to the highest bidder abroad.
They are even going for a million at the Elephant,
Amazing considering they look anything but elegant.
Even Camberwell, the place I was born,
Seems to look different every single morn.
This is all such a shame and a pity,
Who the hell can afford to live in this city.

Opposites attract - London and Rustington could not be more different places.
Be One and Be Free.
And if you read this far - thank you so much.
Have a great weekend and Keep Britain Free and whilst you are doing that Keep The World Free.
Many thanks and all the best,
Laurence of London Town 💛.
Over and out - Have a great weekend.

Great pics and video Laurence...I was going to ask you what the film was...and then when I saw the arena I realised it was 'Rollerball'.....god that takes me back! London development is bonkers and your poem says it all succinctly.
