When humanity loses its freedom, it’s not because tyrants take it away; it’s because people willingly surrender their freedom in return for protection against an external threat. That’s what we are seeing now. This is a vital moment in history which is being imprinted in your brain, just like “remember the great depression” or “remember 9/11.” We are being conditioned to have the excuse for unbelievable acts of tyranny which will be justified by “remember 2020.”
In the western world we are conditioned to believe in the sanctity of human life. Our general Christian-based culture has taught us to believe that every human life is sacred and worth protecting and that the basis of society is the inviolability of the human spirit. It has been unthinkable that these fundamental values could ever be debased, but in the 21st century a tyranny has emerged for which these elemental principles have no significance. Regardless of our lifelong conviction in the faultlessness of human nature or our views on the origins of the Covid-19 pandemic, there can be no doubt that its advent has allowed for the emergence of forces which do not subscribe to human values.
These potencies act on a global scale, exercise superior licence and are outside the authority of governments. Their existence is little understood in temporal terms but their strategies are manifest in the edicts of global authorities such as the United Nations, the World Bank, the World Economic Forum and the World Health Organisation, all of which they control. Mighty though the power of these global agencies might be, they are themselves subject to still higher authority whose goal is to exercise ultimate power and control over all human activity. The sanctity of human life and the rights of individuals is not on their agenda; if necessary, the callous destruction of entire populations is of only peripheral consequence.
The creation of the global “lockdown” demonstrates the total inhuman nature and ruthlessness of these forces. The exercise of the lockdown conforms precisely with the definition of torture, as set out by Amnesty International in its 1975 “Report on Torture.” The lockdown placed virtually the entire world population under the control of a faceless oppressor who, through the manipulation of world governments, afflicted the physical, mental and psychological suffering of people on a global scale. The measures deployed are readily identifiable to military personnel as the standard means to subjugate captive prisoners of war. The goal was clearly to force people’s submission, break their will and destroy their humanity. This deliberate, systematic activity meets every definition of torture, as evidenced by its adoption of a rational purpose to coerce the population by inducing dependency, debilitation and dread.
The techniques deployed are instantly recognisable as the ten classic techniques of psychological
