I was disappointed at the turn out .such a shame , same old police tactics .
The weather was not the best , why are we not better organised. I was having a few chats and people seemed to think bikes and prams on the outside like a barrier would be a good idea .
Two policeman asked me if I knew the person I was talking with “ yes we know each other blah blah .
Im here to protest it’s not against the law etc etc , so I then went on to try and give them a sense of how people are feeling towards them.
arresting old lady’s etc battering old men with batons does not put them in then best light ,
they agreed 👏
They were both young and said they want to change things...They said they would have shook my hand but they aren’t allowed . They talked to me from the start in a fair way . No aggression or power trip etc .
They listened to what I said as well . Totally different to the way most of the police have been behaving . The difference it would make if that’s how all the police were . Can only dream .
They strike me as a pretty rare example. I too have seen a non-evil policeman at one of the protests I've been too, remarkably polite behind the mask, but from what you see in videos in central London the decent ones must be in a minority, otherwise the good ones would surely be holding back the TSG thugs.
