It's unbelievable where we've arrived...even as I was writing these lyrics I felt like looking over my shoulder to see if anyone was going to report me....

Hi Gino,
I was aware of those that you've mentioned but that's my point.Far too few and with no real guts apart from Sir Van and Ian Brown....really sad. You either stand by your beliefs or you live a lie and eventually fall. I'd rather die a free man than live and die a slave.
Absolutely..the compliance is incredibly frustrating. They are sleepwalking into a life of micromanaged tyranny. I alternate between hatred and pity.

Replying to
@ginotriggiani I know what you mean about alternating between hatred and pity.....problem is, their (in)actions affect the outcomes of everybody.....and then they call that 'democracy'.
And the govt and msm have them blaming us...wanting to be is just so selfish.

Love the lyrics. Just been going through your other stuff....'Hot Night' has a great groove and 'Coming Home' has a great feel and sentiment....reminds me of Deacon Blue.
One of the most disheartening things about this last year has been the amount of people I had down as my heroes (The Who, Paul Weller, Sting, Annie Lennox, Paul McCartney, Yusef, Tears for Fears, the list goes on and on.......). I haven't heard one of them speaking out against something that is obviously a scam.
You're right..not many want to risk the firestorm but I can name a few exceptions you might not be aware of (and only a few) Van Morrison has released a couple of antilockdown songs and Clapton has collaborated with one of them and there's Ian Brown from The Stone Roses and Noel Gallagher has spoken out against mask fascism.

Why?
I've no idea.
Thank you very much! Shows you where we are with the censorship...I kept feeling like looking over my shoulder as I was writing those lyrics!
Love it Gino, thanks for posting
