Hi Everyone, I just tested the mood, went to a shop without a mask, nothing was said. Each of us has to encourage others to do the same, this only works if our numbers are big. For me, this represents an important moment in our history, if we allow this then anything is on the table and our freedom will be gone.

I've been to the Post Office Collection Office, local Budgens and big Sainsburys twice. All in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. First two didn't ask, the latter asked then let me in without any issues. I counted three other people without them in the entire store. The vast majority are compliant and totally ignorant of what's actually going on.
Co-op in the village was no problem. No questions. No other customers, either!!!
Feed store in Brigg was the same. Lidl in Brigg, my wife & I were the ONLY ONES without masks. One jobsworth (in brightly patterned face diaper) told me I should be wearing one. In another smaller shop in the town we again were the only ones sans mask. No problem but the till operator seemed quite belligerent. Saddened me that SO MANY had caved in to tyranny. Such is the effectiveness of 24/7, wall-to-wall fear porn. It is those people who’ve made their symbol of cowardly capitulation a patterned fashion accessory who are FAR more scary than any virus could EVER be. If anyone here is on Twitter & wants to connect, I’m on @Hereward_Awake ... see you there, perhaps.
