I know many hear have expressed scepticism of writing to their MPs and I fall in a similar camp, however I believe at the very least we owe it to ourselves to not go quietly.

You can argue that the protest in London at the weekend was essentially a futile effort but it's still important to gather and provide a demonstration that not everybody is blindly following the narrative. It's not just about who attends the protest but everyone who hears about it from second or even third hand accounts.

The MSM may not exactly be on our side but we did get some coverage, and for every person who sees the demonstration and realises that they aren't alone, it's another person on our side and another win for us. We can still win this people.

Nice one Rob! For those who haven't yet done so just take 2 minutes to do it today, last chance before the vote! I understand the scepticism Alan; of course this isn't going to be a 'silver bullet' alone but I feel we currently need to come at this from all angles.

For those who want it, here's a Big Brother Watch template to use that I've tweaked a bit:

Subject: Repeal Schedule 21 in the Coronavirus Act on 30th September Dear [MP], I am writing to express my concern about the Coronavirus Act renewal motion. In particular, I urge you to support the amendment to repeal Schedule 21 on Wednesday 30th September, to protect rights and justice in the UK. The Coronavirus Act represents the biggest expansion of executive power in a generation. Some of the powers in the Act are extreme, unexplained and simply unjustified — but, nodded through on the premise of urgency, the Act suffered from a lack of parliamentary scrutiny. It is vital that this motion to review the Act is not a rubber-stamping exercise but a genuine review and repeal of the Act’s unnecessary and dangerous powers. The most dangerous and excessive of these powers in Schedule 21 of the Act. Schedule 21 contains some of the most extreme detention powers in modern British legal history. It gives unprecedented, almost arbitrary powers to the police, immigration officers and public health officials to detain “potentially infectious” members of the public, including children, potentially indefinitely and in unspecified locations. In a pandemic, that could mean anyone. Schedule 21 detention powers have been used for 141 prosecutions — every single one of which was found unlawful by the CPS on review. This 100% unlawful prosecution rate, which has continued over six months, is unprecedented and unacceptable. Big Brother Watch has found cases of innocent and healthy individuals not only being arrested and fined but even held in police cells unlawfully under these draconian powers. Renewing Schedule 21 in the Coronavirus Act would be dangerous and indefensible. Significant powers in the Health and Social Care Act 2008 already allow for the forced detention and testing of potentially infectious people with the authorisation of a magistrate, which is a vital safeguard. Furthermore, the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) Regulations 2020 require individuals returning from countries on the quarantine list to self-isolate and give police the power to forcibly return an individual to an isolation place.

It’s now the opinion of a growing number of medical professionals and academics around the world that the general policy position is completely inconsistent with what we now know of the COVID-19 risk profile, hugely destructive and should be urgently reconsidered.

In that regard I'm linking the open letter to the Prime Minister, Chancellor, CMO’s and CSA from Professors Sikora, Gupta and Heneghan, as well as an eminent list of signatories from across British science and academia, of 21st September. Please read it.

Why I won't be writing to my MP:

If my MP doesn't already know what's going on (ie. 70,000 people in Trafalgar Sq objecting.....hasn't seen any footage from multiple sources.......hasn't seen their home town and and the effect on constituents' lives...hasn't seen the 'other scientific advice'....hasn't been told by their Leader of their Party what is 'really going on'.......If they haven't worked out for themselves what's happening.....do you really think a letter from a constituent is going to make them 'see the light'?

Won't make a jot of difference I'm afraid Rob. If this PLANDEMIC has proved anything to me, it's this. The whole system is rigged. It all needs dismantling. As that is unlikely to take place, I think intelligent people who care about freedom and sovereignty, need to head for a new place. Even with the best outcome that I could foresee (MPs vote down Coronavirus Act and withdraw all restrictions and Moonshot policies, Public Enquiry set up to be led by Lord Sumption, Trump wins in Nov2020, Brexit goes ahead, Italy and Greece demand an EU referendum, France and Spain in 2021 demand the same, 2022 The Hague orders arrest of WHO personnel including Bill & Melinda Gates, Faucci, Whitty, Valance and others Public Health Officials from around the globe, 2022 Boris Johnson and whole cabinet to stand trial for treason after Lord Sumption's findings...........),

we would still need a TOTAL REFORM of the whole legal system to return to a system where COMMON LAW took precedent.

As none of this (apart from Trump winning) is likely to take place.......I have been scanning the globe for a new home. The problem is......there is nowhere apart from the US that fits the bill. The US (which I've never wanted to visit even) looks like the place, just because of the amount of 'land' available in which to roam and become anonymous.

Think of all the 'celebrities' who have remained utterly silent on this whole issue....it really beggars belief. I unfortunately caught the beginning of Kirsty Wark on 'Newsnight' the other night. When the 'doom and gloom' opening headline of a 'second-wave' uttered forth from her lips......I was dismayed. Someone who I always thought had an independent inquisitive mind......just repeating drivel.....thankfully I only had to endure one sentence before reaching the remote.
