I have been wondering for many years now what the objective of a protest or demonstration is.
Is it to spread the word amongst the masses? From what I can tell and also from my experiences with propaganda and statistics, most people have already made their mind up which ‘side’ they are on prior to any event taking place. Therefore all it serves to do is to entrench these divides even further.
Perhaps it is a show of numbers to the government to ensure they receive ‘our’ message. I have two issues with this:
1) It only serves to empower said government that they are the rulers and we are the subjects asking, demanding, whatever you wish to call it, for them to change their approach or policy otherwise we will get very angry with them!
2) It allows the opposing views of such demonstration/protests to find any chink to ridicule or further alienate the true purpose.
I believe that there is another way and perhaps the only way to change this situation. There are too many groups and sub-groups and too many competing agendas for us to ever unite properly and to find one coherent method and objective to finally end this.
I will be following this point up at the picnic ’get together’ that ‘Pete’ is putting together within the W.Mids group if anyone is interested to find out more or just interested to have a nice day out near Ledbury.
Would love to hear any thoughts regarding the above.

Quick one to all that has added to the discourse - I really appreciate to hear everyone’s thoughts and perspectives. It’s so very important. Thanks
imo what we need is a rash of people who get on board with stating their law as a man or woman, by way of notices to another man or woman, notices which, if un-remedied, they are willing to press to claim in open court.....
mankind, acting as Agents of the State and working within Government have forgotten they are here to serve man and woman, they have stepped, via black magic legalese (and our silent compliance), into the role of Dictator, with the people as their slaves who must obey. This is a pile of crap. But only each individual standing as a man or woman and stating their law via notices to the man: going by the name of Boris Johnson, can change this state of affairs.
Not enough of mankind have woken up yet to their implied enslavement, they answer, way too readily, yes when asked the Question:
are you Joe Bloggs?
Or, are you a Citizen of Great Britain?
All it will take is a few public notices in the Media addressed to the man, Matt Hancock or the man, Boris Johnson and things could change quite rapidly. Of course the issue then would be finding a newspaper independent enough that would be willing to put that Notice up. As most, if not all of them, are Soros owned etc ....so we might come unstuck there. It may have to go on a variety of platforms in order for it to be very clearly communicated to BoJo that he has been given notice. This then works in much the same way that they tell us all the stuff they are going to do to us via the mainstream media garbage, and our silence equals compliance and consent.
C.R.M - I have had a look at the comments and this is my view. You need both non-compliance and protest on a large scale for something to work. Look at the Poll Tax for instance. 'On the 31st of March 1990, London was the scene of one of the worst riots seen in modern British history as more than 200,000 protesters descended on the capital.' People rallied nationwide and didn't comply, even though they were threatened with jail. And guess what, the Government capitulated. Unfortunately, with the Coronavirus farce there just aren't enough of the general public on board. But what can we do but protest, just sit at home and watch telly???
Taking to the streets once will obviously achieve nothing, however, as it has been proven over the years, a large enough sustained protests can and in fact will change the course of any government.
Recent examples the BBC doesn't want you know about:
- Serbia - government abandoned lockdown tactics
- Poland - health minister has resigned
IMHO, in this situation protests helps individuals realise that their way of thinking is in fact shared but many many more hence empowering resistance to tyranny. If you look at Germany various demographics were out protesting, not only 'the usual suspects'. The government wants people divided, frightened and isolated thus easy to control.
Check this man out, he started one man protest outside Downing Street, legend.
