I have had some thoughts that I would like to air with a view of using them to prepare an effective demonstration:
If we go shopping, turn on the TV, read a newspaper in fact do ANYTHING, we are bombarded with the government propaganda regarding how deadly the virus can be and that we, the people who can see through the BS are responsible for the continued threat of the virus.
Now, going back to the Traf Square protests, I think everyone knows my views on that (if not, have a look at my post Trafalgar Square2), anyway leaving that aside for a minute. I have been looking at the government campaign. I have come to the decision that all of our protests, as sincere as they are, lack one vital factor in the propaganda war.
It dawned on me that the placards, banners etc, whilst explaining the point, never really makes an impact. This is the kind of thing that the authorities are used to and I bet the Police would not even be able to say what these placards said with any confidence.
This is my plan:
Everywhere, we see advertisements, images of people happy to wear masks, happy to be tested and having an idyllic life because they are following the rules correctly. This is where our protests are falling down.
We need to start showing images, real pictures of the truth, the suffering of those affected by these rules etc. Have a look at my post 'The REAL cost of this scam' the image contained is extremely powerful, I defy anyone to be moved by its contents (this was banned by FB) and more importantly, every word is true. I am sure that there are more photographs/images that people have of their own. We need to show such images to the people who refuse to believe that this is all a scam and the government wouldn't lie.
It is true that a picture paints a thousand words, we should be displaying these picture anywhere and everywhere we can. I have contacted Simon, who has agreed that the image in my post is extremely powerful and I have asked him if we could possible start an 'advertising' campaign, showing such images on Bill boards etc. I have found out that such bill boards (called a 48 sheet board) that appear on most high streets costs around £120.00 per week to display an image. Now that's quite a lot of money and I am wondering if Simon agrees to this 'advertising', if people would be prepared to donate to this fund?
I could sponsor a poster for a week but I do not have the funds to launch a campaign such as this.
Do you remember the campaign for anti smoking or the fur trade images, quite shocking and they made an impact. Why not do the same for our cause?
Imagine, everywhere we went, we saw OUR bill board images, maybe with KBF logos and websites etc.
In other words, we fight the government in the same way as they are using their propaganda against us, using powerful images. It is peaceful, powerful and promotes our cause. All positive images and I do not think it will be ignored.
I have also contacted a few of the advertisement companies and they are happy to show such posters...obviously within the usual decency and legal framework.
Also, imagine, at the same taime as these posters became live, we organise a March in similar numbers to the Trafalgar Square protests, handing out leaflets etc.
What do you think people? If you agree, send Simon a message, asking for help.
Thats it, Rant over - Thanks for reading this
Great idea, I will chip in.
Was sent this booklet full of info on Covid. Someone has worked hard on this. Could be useful info going forward.
Global Covid Report
I like this idea and currently exploring how we can best get it done. The imagery needs to be spot on, and we need decent spots. Rates are about £1200 a month for a decent one. Will put some work in
Folks, fyi the bernicium Twitter page has been closed down. That is hugely concerning and hope he is safe. I think 300 MPs abstaining was cos of his serving them all papers @stevehabberley - you highlighted his plight, he's been silenced on twitter now.
I signed up to proton too. Will email Steve now
Is anyone has Simon's email ?
Simon messaged back and said he's thinking about it, so sounds reasonably positive. Hopefully others have messaged him too.
good idea re billboards and handing out leaflets during the march - need to get message out to people not on social media
Right I've signed up to proton and mailed Steve. Anyone else!
What worries me is how long are those posters going to survive before they get removed.
I would be happy to contribute to that idea.
Prepared to donate to that fund. Maybe pics of patients denied treatment .... the sad picture of the elderly husband with his hand on the closed window trying to communicate with his wife in a care home as not allowed to visit her under so called covid rules etc. Good idea Steve.... thank you🙅♀️👣👣🙏🌟
Steve am totally on board- it's fantastic and completely peaceful and allowin people to have choice with deciding for themselves armed with views from both sides👍 I'm in Scotland but think this needs to be cross country and happy to do something up here if any Scots want to connect on here? We need a secure place to discuss our advertising ideas tho or the 77 et Al will have upper hand to counter any ideas we have. Someone here said they good with this sort of thing, you know who that was? I'm useless at tech so can you lot capable of doing this get it organised and we can really get crackin onthis fantastic idea. I'm really excited about this, bravo mate👍
It sounds like a good idea to me mate. Public is affected by 'normal' advertising billboards.
