EDIT - 2nd October
I said on 26th September Graham Brady looks like a good leader and I actually wrote to him congratulating him on his stand. I was wrong!
He ended up selling out and voted for the extension. PLEASE WATCH this excellent video for an analysis of what is actually happening and who is really standing up - and following through:
I shall now be writing to him to express my 'disappointment' and asking why he changed his mind. I will also be writing to those who actually had the guts to vote against the extension and will publish their names and email addresses soon in this forum soon.
From now on I will be calling him Fat Graham as suggested in the vid.
ORIGINAL POST - 26th September
A growing number of cross party back-benchers and others are now calling for Paliamentary scrutiny of the Coronavirus and other Acts. Please watch Graham Brady being interviewed by Andrew Neil. Long video but just watch the bit that starts at 29.00 minutes.
This is the best opposition we have and Sir Graham Brady looks to me like a good leader - maybe of a new party or at least a political organisation with integrity??
Please write to him offering your support on email@example.com
Sir Graham Brady
Chair of the 1922 Committee
House of Commons
See also thread called 1922 Committee started by Rita with more information. Thanks to all who posted on that thread. We must all show him how much support he has and get others to do the same. Please write as soon as possible.
