For me this is one of the greatest challenges! To stop these pointless thoughts which serve absolutely no useful purpose - they only feed the dark evil agenda..... - of this I have to remind myself many times, on many a day!
That absolutely works , I have spoken to a few jabbed and single jabbed people ,one to on face to face. It’s no good shouting at people things like “ use your brains “ etc
yesterdays London march was more positive , hardly any idiots with megaphones , no beatboxes and drums . Just positive protest . The atmosphere was really positive , much more connection between people . The marches with the drums dancing etc is a fracking joke ,,,more like a carnival. Yesterday was a protest and everyone who was there commented that it was much better .
@Steven Anthony Actually now you mention it, I didn't personally see any. I don't even know if the Global Vets group is in any way linked in with Mike Stott's Guardians group.
@Rosie I agree the first part was good ,should have carried on north with all the shoppers etc etc,,,, .why not start at Victoria park ,,,Hackney Dalston etc places similar .
The Regent’s Park start was good Camden etc but should have headed to Holloway etc .
so many people have no ideas there was a march ,they would join in . The majority seem to be on our side ,same as when I’ve done placards ,,,we have a lot of support out there .….
@Steven Anthony Yes, to a certain degree that rather goes along with 'what you resist, persists' and also many mindfulness practices.
My 'practice' is not so much to stop thoughts ( although reducing the amount of needless head chatter is useful, restful and energy saving! ) it is rather more to do with changing the quality of thoughts, I feel.
To be able to see another person, but not be judgemental and / or critical.....this is also acceptance on a different level, don't you think.........
Yes, I think that is an approach we all need to take at the moment, perhaps we need to try and empathize with those who are still asleep, and gently nudge them to awaken.

Rosie - You cannot stop your thoughts, but you can learn to acknowledge them, accept them and let them go.
