Common Assault has a maximum sentence of 6 months which is unlikely to be applied for a first offence. So going to university is now a bigger crime than assault? #fullmoonmadness
Does anyone know how much support we are getting from university students? According to Universities UK, there were 2.38 million (higher education students) in 2018/19. So, if we assume the same this year, that's a massive amount of support. Now, given 1) That these guys are fresh students, they would be red-hot on research and that kind of stuff, 2) They have the time and the tools, 3) Their future is at stake, 4) Given their age, they are likely to have the most to lose, 5) They are already being threatened with lockdown and not being allowed home to "kill" their grannies, 6) They are paying 9K/year + accommodation to be schooled remotely (due to lockdown measures). Then we have the "educators", their teachers and professors, the, supposedly, "clever and smart ones among them" with whom they could work.
Without being too harsh, why aren't these guys mobilising against this tyranny and taking the challenge to the government before its too late? I am sure some are, but that is likely to be a tiny minority. If I am wrong, please forgive me and ignore this post.
Has anyone else looked directly at what the Chinese and Russians have been doing? The Phillipines are using Russia's vaccines. Putin, a while back seemed to recognise how lightly most people who test positive fare but recognized that fatalities for those with conditions and complications are a reality. Early on, he allowed the city dwellers to go out of Moscow to exercise as if they all exercised in Moscow, it would be crowded. The rules in Russia were not long lasting or overly severe, unlike ours.
I'm a mature student. I will not be treated like a child. They do NOT control my life and I will NOT submit to their 'rules'. I am a human being who has the right to decide my own fate. If you try to take that away from me, I am nothing more than a prisoner, and they are the jailers.
