Yes I was confused at the mention of only 4 miles but almost 5 hrs! I've often stayed on til 6 or longer but thats when we've done the 10 / 11 mile hikes all over the centre & parts of the city. Seems that it starts at 1.15pm - there is mention of a big surprise at the end ??? Someone going to break the news that we've all been part of a huge long-winded joke / nightmare and it ends on Saturday????????????????
@Rosie I dont really want to walk around for that long . The marches definitely start to de energise after a couple of hours . I’d rather a 2 /3 hour march with lots of energy . Then plonk ourselves somewhere. The poster I saw said something about they will hear our voice
mmmmmi looking forward to it.
also where are we going …we have done west London Shepherd’s Bush , south London down to Clapham via Brixton. Last week we did Camden north London down to Whitehall.
Meeting where we are I assume we are going towards Chelsea ?
what do you think Rosie .
@xena artray Don't really know.........can't much see the point in Chelsea / Kensington area myself. Waste of time. Perhaps from Hyde Park we may go NW ? head towards Kilburn / Willesden/ Cricklewood - that would be worthwhile. or maybe it will veer over to Notting Hill & North Kensington / Westbourne Grove way? But I'm just guessing!
I'd really like to see us covering much more of real people residential London & suburbs more regularly than once a month - although I totally appreciate that many of us are out continually on our own or in small groups.
Residential areas are where the numbers are to be grown imo
I agree with you about a 2/3 hour march - frankly I cannot see how you can tease out a purposeful 4 mile march to last almost 5 hours! Perhaps some more info will become available over the next 24 hrs.
Wonder where this one is heading . . It’s a very long march though 1 til 6 …
