I don't know what's more laughable......the Covid deaths of over 100,000 or the unemployment figure of 1.7 million. When Grampian region released figures of 15 confirmed Covid deaths via a FOI (Freedom Of Information notice) with a population of 500,000), if replicated around the country would put the national figure around 1,950, which is probably the true figure. I'm sure the government is fudging the unemployment figures by use of apprenticeships and 'interns' (my daughter has a 6 month 'internship' at Tesco's......after the six months....who knows?). I expect the true figure is somewhere around 3 - 4 million but is being hidden by furlough and these sorts of schemes. I'm wondering if Johnson has looked so dishevelled a lately not because of the deaths, but because his Masters have told him when the financial crisis is about to hit.......I reckon in less than two months. Surely this is the reason why the whole of Europe is going under curfew? What difference does curfew make to the spread of a disease? None, but control of the population during financial meltdown, is crucial in staving off the ravages of civil war.
Make sure your cupboards are fully stocked and don't plan on going anywhere this year......I don't think you'll get the fuel.
