We have been led to believe that if we do not obey the governments COVID restrictions, we will be breaking the law and could face fines, arrest and criminal proceedings. Don't be fooled. COVID laws are not laws, they are rules that come under civil law. That's why the government cannot legally enforce lockdowns, social distancing or mask wearing. They can only 'ask, request, advise, cajole, beg, threaten, plead, frighten or use bribes (furlough payments), to get the population to follow their draconian rules. We are still a free people living in a free democracy. We also have freedom of choice so, if you choose not to abide by their rules, you are not breaking a criminal law, you are breaking a civil law which is dealt with by the local authority, (Council), and so there is absolutely nothing the government or the police can do about it...
