Wrongly accused by police

I was wandering has anyone had an experience of being wrongly accused by the police of doing something they didnt do? or knows anyone who has. I would be interested to know as this happened to me when two Bexley officers accused me of smoking and dropping a cigarette and I received a fixed notice penalty
