What I find incomprehensible is the fact that there is absolutely no comment on this site about the cancellation of the hearing that was due next week - nevermind wondering about the next one!!
It strikes me as obvious that the judiciary are in cahoots with the government over this so what effect the appeal hearing will have appears marginal if not irrelevant now. If the judiciary think that someone going on holiday is sufficient grounds for cancelling the original hearing what do people expect to happen next time - the demand for freedom of the people is less than the importance of legal people having a holiday it seems.
Scandalous and not a murmer, anywhere .... and you hope to win this case? The government crimes just mount up and nothing happens to really resist them? Time is running out
The case could be won still. The hearing should be done. The laws must be changed so a government acting illegally should be dealt with properly. The pressure must be kept on government even though legal consequences probably aren’t concerning. the judge needs to make a statement, too long have governments been getting away with law breaking even in domestic circumstances it’s gone too far.
I'm not arguing to stop the case - Simon has been the only person to make a challenge - whilst one or two other cases may be brought - it is taking so long - remember Gina Millar got immediate access to the court and the High Court - this appears to be kicked into the long grass.
There needs to be a greater emphasis on publicity and getting those in the public who are seeing what's happening on board. It all feels so distant - I say this as someone who is busy meeting up with like minded people and trying to spread the word - it takes its toll - where is the plan?
I’m not sure the case is particularly the most simple one whereas the brexit case was a more simple proposition. isn’t the legality ultimately around whether a government should be allowed and have the power to make these decisions and impose these restrictions. I don’t think it will win ultimately because the resultant death rate would have been quite a significant amount higher so I’m not even sure if it’s something that courts have ever really looked at. It’s the value of a life whether it should be protected or not? I think the government can easily win the case but I don’t think they’re serious about putting up a case because the consequences are obsolete? okay it was illegal, now what?
Sat here wondering on my Sunday if it has ever been the case that the courts have removed a democratically elected government from office? Anywhere in Europe or Western world?
Yes, are the public admitted (!).... or not, surely, we'll be positively welcomed ?!
( as in a non-discriminatory way ) with a view to the capacity of the court...are there guidelines to ensure capacity and fair hearings...

Even if the case if found to be "illegal" which I don't believe it is/was (not a lawyer though) then what?
When and where is the next judicial review. There is a FB post saying it is on Thursday but with no time or location
