I’ve flown recently on Jet2 and Ryanair, I made sure I was constantly eating or drinking which you can’t do if you’re wearing a mask. A lot of it depends on how strict the crew are, I didn’t see anyone being spoken to for not wearing a mask.
My problem is, I have to go and visit my elderly Dad.
I have struggled about this for weeks but today I have finally booked my flights for mid September.
I will have to fly alone as my husband and I can't risk us both not coming back in case the borders close.
I couldn't get a direct flight which means it's gonna be hard going. I HATE wearing face masks (I have to at work) and I do not know how I will cope in the airport and inside a plane. Wearing a mask goes gainst everything that I believe but equally I need to go and see my Dad.
Has anyone got any experience on flying during Covid times and any ideas on how I can cope without having to take medication to stay calm?
