Just as Lockdown Sceptics started this a couple of months ago:
https://lockdownsceptics.org/open-for-business/
but now apparently haven't updated it, I think that it would be useful to publish details of any businesses operating as normal, 'old' normal, real normal, that we could support: pubs, shops, cafes, restaurants etc. This wouldn't necessarily be a 'Trip Advisor' type of review, just an endorsement of a business that treats us as human beings, not as biohazards. For example, I am looking for pubs in south Oxfordshire if anyone has any recommendations.
Tricky part with such a list of decent business which treat you like human beings would be ensuring that council busybodies don't read it and use it as a wanted list of businesses to harass for not being sheep like enough to their guidelines.
Oh Christ, we have to start somewhere. If we spend all our time worrying about local authority Little Hitlers, then we'll never achieve anything. OK, I'll be more obvious, the area about which I'm trying to find a decent pub or pubs is one that used to be dominated by Morland's of Abingdon, who were subsequently taken over by Greene King, which has shown itself to be adopting all the draconian measures. But there must be *some* normal pubs in that area.
