Hi all :) So I run a business involving a lot of travel. I have a trip booked to Mexico for work for a month, beginning 5 Jan. It was originally for the States but had to change due to flight restrictions, and I am counting on this work to keep my business afloat.
The nature of my work means it is totally unable to be done at home. I am wondering if I am going to be able to get to Mexico to do the job.
So far I have researched government websites and it seems as though travel outside of the UK for work purposes is permitted, despite ourselves and London (where I am flying from) being in Tier 4.
However the information on the gov. sites seems slightly vague. I am wondering if anyone can shed any light from a personal experience perspective or a legal perspective, on anything I’d need to prepare, whether I need any kind of permit, etc?
If anyone has been outside of the UK for their jobs, or has any legal information on what I’d need in order to do so, it would be HUGELY helpful.
Thank you!
Emma
