Oh Lord
I ask that Thou bless the celebrations
of those up and down the land, who seeking light and truth,
have found the courage in themselves to meet with their loved ones over Christmas
in defiance of "the rules".
Protect the privacy of their celebrations from the intrusions of the "stasi". Amen.
May they find an oasis of peace, a reprieve from the desperate, relentless, infantilising propaganda of the "hands, face, space" psy-operators.
May they find vindication of their sanity, a restoration of perspective, and draw strength for the battles that lie ahead in the year to come.
May the scales fall off their eyes.
May the truth set them free. Amen.
