Simon Dolan has been sharing links on twitter to this, I'm not on twitter so i thought I'd raise my thoughts here. There's a letter template and some sort of campaign backend which allows businesses to inform local crooked authorities that they will be doing the right thing and refusing to shut. Great idea, but it is missing one thing. Rational.global find the names of all the businesses who join, as do their local authorities who get told to f*** off, but we, the possible customers don't have a database we can go to of businesses e can support for their heroic non-compliance.
Would be really good if the folks at rational.global could et something up whereby there is a list of heroic businesses for locals to make use of, that way we lockdown sceptics can make it worth those businesses while to refuse to close.

May I suggest getting off facebook, I don't have an account there and never intend to, I'd advise against using it for anything at all fullstop. I've been looking in to the idea of using a network of protonmail accounts to communicate, I am still double checking but believe that protonmail-to-protonmail (not in or out to other email providers' accounts though) communicatons are end-to-end encrypted, and protonmail (being browser acessed) could probably be a lot better cross-compatible for all users on all platforms than various e2e comms apps which only run on specific brands of smartphone. And, being e2e encrypted, protonmail would be about as secure as possible.

That's good. I don't understand why businesses folows illegal orders. No one has got the rights to demand businesses stopping from trading. I would never close it.
