Hi, I would like to suggest an anthem for the organisation, originally by th WHO (how apt is that?) Called Don't get fooled again (even more apt). Heres my version
stevehabberley - Another suggestion for an anthem: Something in the Air by Thunderclap Newman. Great tune, and lyrics very apt. Even the song title! For the 'youngsters' on here who haven't heard it before, go listen. They don't make music like that anymore.
Agreed... I sound like my grandad but I truly mean it. The 'music' I hear now is not music at all, its chanting to a drum beat! Have you seen some of the kids reactions on youtube when they listen to stairway to heaven etc, they are mesmerised
stevehabberly - Awesome! Great to hear it again. Brought tingles down my spine. I won't get fooled again though, as I wasn't fooled in the first place. I still weep for the 70's. Great music, great comedy and free speech! Anybody who hasn't lived through the 70's hasn't lived! Please have a look at the live version on you tube. Copy and paste: The Who - Won't Get Fooled Again (Live at Kilburn 1977). An absolute treat.
