Hi I have just started a facebook group with this title. I think the meaning is pretty seIf -explanatory. If you're interested message me - James Lydon. Thanks
Hi all, I would just like to bring some attention to the fact that some of us over a certain age are not tech minded and don't do Facebook or most social media platforms. Most of my friends are very open to discussing this overaction to covid. Most of my friends, myself and older family members grew up in times when measles could kill and the country did not come to a stand still. My friends would like to have a place to meet like minded people in Liverpool. I'm not sure if there will be a "meet up" but if it does happen it would help.
Hi James, I'm over the water in Port Sunlight. Would love to meet and participate in any protests but like Hilary am not on Facebook - think Mark Zuckerberg is every bit as villainous as Bill Gates and not to be trusted with my info. Can you make your page open?
BTW I was really interested in the 'spike' in L8, Toxteth, etc. where all the 'troublemakers' live, 28 of whom tested asymptomatic positive duh!
I understand your concerns. My efforts have been superseded by Merseyside Truth Seekers who organised the demo last Saturday. They are based on the Wirral and have nearly 2,000 members.
It concerns me that a demo of 2000 people is not covered at all in the press and I can't find any group called Truth Seekers on google. If we can find them, I see no reason why we should not join forces.
Is anybody planning on going to the Unite for Freedom event in London on 29 August? Apparently Truthseekers are arranging coaches from Manchester, Chester & Liverpool and could do with more numbers from Liverpool.
Definitely interested. I'm pretty isolated as I only moved here in May and would be great to be able to talk freely about all the crap going on without the thought police screaming down anyone who even implies the lockdown has been a negative experience for anyone :)
Would anyone on here be interested in meeting up in real life or organising a protest? (especially as we're being threatened with local lockdown tomorrow)
I went to the protest in Church Street last weekend. Don't know if there is anything organised for this weekend. Actually sang a song with everybody - all singing together, wonderful!
Good luck!
Not sure if you've met yet...some notes from our experience in the Activism section (currently top of page 2)...well worth setting a date even if some can't make it. https://www.keepbritainfree.com/forum/activism/starting-your-own-local-group

Also don't use social media though

I would be interested in meeting up, hoping that being over the water won't be a problem.
Not a problem at all :) I'm in Bristol from tomorrow till late next week visiting family but can try and arrange something when I'm back?
P.S. I thought protests were exempt from the rules, fair enough if they aren't I also don't wana fork out 10k haha 🤣
Should add, not prepared to organise a protest. Don't have £10,000!
Hi all. I'm likely to be working back in the Pool soon. Are there any get-togethers planned for the next few weeks ?
