Paul Kayser is no longer involved with KBF Sussex. If you are interested in joining us please contact Pollianna via the Members Chat. If you were part of the KBF Brighton or KBF Sussex Telegram Groups you may have noticed that the name has been changed, much to our surprise! The good news is that the KBF Sussex Group is still going strong. We will re-establish a Telegram presence in due course.
Hi All...I've just posted this about our initiative for the May 2021 elections (launched Jan 1st)...please share...you can also follow us on twitter @ApoliticalNtwk
It's a network to support new candidates in the May 2021 elections. We need people to help spread details of this initiative and to help at a local level.
What is KBF doing to raise awareness? All I've seen is talking shops and leaflets. Time is running out. Legal challenges are fine and dandy but they take time. Gandhi fired up a whole continent by advocating civil disobedience and non-compliance. What are you doing?
Paul - I don't know how to add contacts to telegram. My only contact on Telegram found me. Do I need someone's email address to be able to add them as a contact to Telegram. That was my question, poorly put I know!!!
Hi all, I understand the need for discretion. I do have Telegram installed and have one contact, but don't really understand it very well at the moment. How do we find each other?
Hi Michele. My advice is to use your common sense depending on what you want to communicate. As I said before, anyone can see these posts if they are logged in. The Members Chat is private, unless your computer has been hacked. WhatsApp and FB are not particularly secure. Telegram is quite secure. Protonmail and Signal are very secure and encrypted. Take your pick as I have all of them!
Hi all. We need to be careful about what we post in this forum as it is visible to the public if they are logged in. The Members Chat is more secure and is the place to share contact details or the specifics of meetings. Telegram and Signal are even more secure but rely on you to have it installed on your devices. Many thanks :-)
I had a message from Paul Kayser inviting me to the next meeting in Lewes, so I'm happy to meet you there and discuss further. I will be at Eastbourne this Saturday - are you going to that? See you in Lewes :-)
Sounds like a good idea - perhaps we can meet midway. Cafes may not be friendly, but if you or a friend knows of somewhere. A transport cafe might be more anonymous.
Is there anyone in East Sussex that is co-ordinating aactivities/marches in East Sussex. I have been on the Hastings march, I am going to the Eastbourne march. Where is this being co-ordinated? I just have one contact - Sadie. It would be good to see some cooperation. We need to make an impact. I suggested some things but got blown off.
Not so sure about your information Philippa. Please directly message Paul Kayser. This is a public forum and our privacy is important! We used to have a KBF-Sussex drop box but I think it's vanished?
@Sheila Jacklin it's been quite glitchy. You can hover up the member name and click message, that sometimes works. I've managed to dm Philippa though....
Hi Paul it seems direct messaging is either broken or disabled. obviuosly don't post details here, but on the offchance its just my outward DM not working can you DM me details. As per usual I will try and attend. J thanks
Hi. I've just joined. Is there anybody here from W/Sussex? I live between Bognor and Chichester, I'd really like to meet up with any like minded people in the area.
There's been a suggestion for an Eastbourne informal meet up, I think every other week or every week, possibly on a weekend in the evening. Venue to be decided. Message me if interested. Thanks.
@Sheila Jacklin Glad you like the EB social idea. I've just set up a group message thing using the small red rectangle in the right hand bottom corner of the screen - for computers/laptops.
