I wonder what the result would be if people such as Kate Shemirani and Piers Corbyn had private security guards to protect them from harassment and arrest by the 'government' security guards...

Jong - Policing today is a tricky subject to address. I have an idea there may be an infiltration of the more undesirable kind being hired in to boost support, nothing would surprise me. Their seems to be a reluctance to supply details when asked i.e. name, number etc. and wearing heavy armour covers a multitude of sins, plus the muzzles which for them proves very useful protection as we all have phones with cameras. It's a very good idea you put forward and could help but it is costly like all aspects of law involvement and they are safe in the knowledge that not many can go the course. It would be nice if some of those minders who usually stand outside nightclubs and are out of a job could come on board and volunteer for a few hours. It could be very interesting.
