I am a 42 year old living in Gloucestershire, UK with a family consisting of myself, my wife ( suffers from COPD) and 2 girls ( 12 and 20 ).
My eldest daughter was in hospital due to a blood clot in her lung in February for 3 weeks. Luckily was discharged before COVID.
I lost my job in September due to my mental health. Constructive dismissal as I had no option but to quit my job as my employer wouldn't make reasonable adjustments and would not assist me and my mental health due to COVID. Currently I am consulting with ACAS regarding this and fighting this by myself.
Since leaving my job my family has had to request assistance from the Tewkesbury Foodbank and I even have a keyworker with the Independence Trust.
We have even had to rely on the foodbank for Christmas.
This is going to be the bleakest Christmas yet for my family and I.
My concern with the UK is the following:-
1). The government not telling us the truth regarding this seasonal virus.
2). Making the future of us and what we do as humans determined on whether we have a false vaccine that was only approved due to money changing hands and being stockpiled months beforehand.
3). The worst things I find. Is that this government relies on leaks and how these leaks are received before announcing things to the public.
We all know that hospitals lie half full. Contacting or seeing your GP is a joke.
This world is a joke and the worst thing from a personal point of view is I have not seen my nan all year and only seen my parents ( that live in Wales ) twice this year.
Merry Christmas to you and your families.
