I was thinking they might have to arrest some of the police because I am sure they were gathered with more than six people unless I am mistaken lol they are like robo cops in their masks they just sit back and let black lives matter protesters to tear down a statue and here they want to arrest peaceful protestors

curtinj25 - Me too! I was involved in a lot of charity work involving events and fetes, especially during the summer months. Now all that's stopped. The sanctuary where I volunteered is still closed to me. Yes it is lonely curtinj25 I agree, especially when all your family and friends are against you. If I hear anything different on the London situation, I will post it here.
great I am planning to go although bit more apprenhensive this time given what happened on Saturday I still feel it is important to peacefully protest I suppose I can always leave if I feel it is going to get worse are you allowed out during the day I suppose I tend not to go to venues anyway after 10 it does feel sometimes that a lot of things that we enjoy in term of social events are being stopped i sometimes find myself getting a bit lonely at times
curtinj25 - I don't think they are going to totally lock the capital down as they did in March. There will probably be restrictions like we have up North, for instance, households not mixing, working from home and venues closing at 10pm. You should find out soon enough though. I'll be in Trafalgar Square come what may next Saturday, taking my 'one hour daily exercise!'
I am sure they will be ok with all there masks on its funny I never saw many people sneezing or coughing at the protest nor do I in the high streets strange I am bit dreading though what the next set of restrictions is going to be for London the defiantly seem to want to stop any more protests
The virus is very clever never attack the police
The police (especially the MET police) have been going rogue for a long time now, ever since the fraudulent McPherson report was published in 1999. Soon afterwards the achingly politically correct buffoon Ian Blair was appointed Chief Superintendent and the downward spiral began. I remember the peaceful Countryside Alliance march in 2003 that was met with a totally unnecessary & heavy handed police reaction. You can see pictures from the protest that show young police officers, with pure hate on their faces, getting ready to attack peaceful farmers carrying signs in much the same way that boxers get ready to hit their opponent when the bell sounds. This was obviously the start of political policing in this country and it has only got worse since then.
Even though I despise the group I almost wish for another BLM protest so that everyone could see once and for all that protests are not treated equally by law enforcement, especially in London right now.
