It seems to be everywhere you go all these signs saying keep 2 metres apart or save lives or these arrows and floor markings like we are flipping robots ive lost count of the number of times ive not been two metres apart from people 6 months on still breathing apparently even if you are healthy you can still spread the deadly invisible virus it pisses me of also having to cue just to go to the bank and then having a security guard attempting to get me to wear a mask not happening I almost feel like going back to library and handing the card back and saying I wont bother coming here again only it reduces my places to go and study which is the annoying part I kind of wanted to say none of your business I choose not to I said I was exempt which I am I think though if there ere other places I can go I will and they can shove there services elsewhere only its difficult on public transport because I want to be able to get to other places James

curtinj25 - I understand how you feel. It's not up to me to tell you what to to do, but I would still go to the library. If you don't, you will be shooting yourself in the foot, and also letting the beggars win. It's you that has the upper hand, and you have every right to go in the library, even if you have to tell them you are exempt. I know it's difficult seeing all these masked faces and authoritarian figures, but just ignore them and look after number one, which you are! I'm going into the library next week to photocopy some anti-lockdown leaflets to give out at Trafalgar Square, and just let anybody try to stop me from going in.
As much as I despise the new normal even I occasionally fall into the trap of thinking like a robot. Sometimes when i’m watching an old movie or sports event I panic momentarily when the protagonists stand next to one another and maybe shake hands, I have to almost slap myself in the face to get rid of this disturbing irrational thought. Unfortunately we are creatures of habit, and even just a few months of this mind warping behavioural training can have a permanent & negative effect on large scores of the population. I think we’re seeing that play out right now.
The point is, someone like me who basically stopped paying attention to the hysteria at the end of May, is still not completely immune to occasional bouts of stress for no good reason. Imagine the permanent brain damage that has been done to people who fell for this hook line and sinker. The old normal needs to return as soon as possible!
