Just seen pictures of testing sites in the North West of England. There are queues around the block and average waiting times of 3 hours in areas like Bury, Merseyside and Caerphilly. Are there offers of free lottery tickets with every test or are these people suffering from Stockholm syndrome (the fear of freedom). Partial lockdowns across the region have already been extended by a week because of, you guessed it, increases in positive test results.
At a time when more and more people are waking up to the ruse of PCR testing why the hell would people want to volunteer for more testing and effectively extend their own prison sentence. I had high hopes that Operation Moonshot (the latest crackpot Hancock idea) would be a complete embarrassing flop due to lack of interest but now i’m not so sure. If the rest of Britain is as gullible as some of the people of Bury, Manchester then there’s no hope.
The endless propoganda around testing, ie testing is free and vital to stop the spread has suckered in the masses. They just dont realise that the tests are a trap to justify the ongoing attack on freedom. Only when you realise that everything that everything you are being told is an inversion of the truth, then you will stop complying.
I dont know if any of you have seen the film 'They Live'? Brilliant film and very relevant to the present time. There is a scene where the Roddy Piper character has an almighty fight with his black friend/colleague to wear these sunglasses so he can see what he sees. This is the kind of struggle (and then some) that it takes to awaken people. Very very difficult to do. But doing nothing and not trying as much as you can with people you meet/know/love is not an option. Droplets make a wave eventually.
Mark - There is no hope. I realised that a while back. I also realised a while back that the Government aren't going to revoke the Coronavirus Act any time soon. I sat outside a cafe in Preston on Friday. I was a lovely day, and about half the population were wearing masks outside in the fresh air! I was sat in another cafe on Saturday with a friend. I was introduced to 2 of hers. They were nice enough people. The cafe was packed. As soon as they walked outdoors, on went the masks. Bonkers!
There is a hope, we have to go and protest on a full time basis in order for every one else to hear the truth and join us. The stream media work full time on these people while we just do it on casual part time, part time basis. If we are as persistent as the media we will win, as not only more people will start to realise all of these is a big fraud but the Government won't be able to hundle thouthands of us daily marching down Downing Street and Parliament. They are laughing at us because we are not doing enough.
Obviously there’s very little we can do to convince the brainwashed 35% of the country who believe in constant testing and wearing masks everywhere, god knows I would like to shake every one of them by their shoulders and cure them of this madness. But I do believe there are small signs of hope and reasons for optimism with other members of the public and certain pockets of the media.
For instance the Daily Telegraph, once Boris Johnson’s biggest cheerleader, has turned against his government quite significantly over their Covid ‘strategy’. Criticism from the outlet that used to employ him is sure to grab his attention on some level. Also, in the last week i’ve spoken to people who used to clap avidly for the NHS and were definitely fans of lockdown but have now reached their tipping point with the preposterous nanny-state decisions of recent weeks. I do sense the tide beginning to turn, and hopefully there’ll be a massive backlash against the intrusive Covid Secure Marshall’s. I can’t imagine they’ll be any more popular than traffic wardens or wheel clampers.
Even if the government do extend the Coronavirus Act (which they will) I would not lose hope just yet because when furlough ends there will be extreme anger and dissent at the government for sacrificing their jobs and decimating the economy in the name of preventing less than 100 weekly deaths. This is bound to show up in opinion polls, and Boris will suddenly ditch the ‘science’ to save his own skin.
@Mark Kennaird Lets hope so. But lets do protest more often too. That makes a big difference. Go outside Parliament and Downing Street daily until the remove the Coronavirus Act. Remember that their intention is to keep extending it until the vaccine arrives and even further. I would say until people get used to the new normal. We may never get our rights and freedom back unless we demand it and that will only be successful by a constant protest and as sooner as possible.
If we don't protest daily we are turkeys voting for Xmas too
Obviously protest/leaflet campaigns need to be organised at testing stations??
Julia Hartley-Brewer had Dr. Mike Yeadon a former chief scientific officer of Pfizer. He is going to challenge the government on the continuation of this nonsense so well worth a listen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=Su0wMysBYPM&app=desktop
