They have just imposed further lockdowns in some Northern cities...one of which is where my daughter and grandchildren live...is this nightmare ever going to stop? We really need to get behind Simon's legal challenge and any other organisation that is opposing the nonsense and dangerous decrees this government continues to churn out! Please...

I just heard that ridiculous measures they just seem want to stop people from meeting or even talking lock them up in there homes all for common cold that is not killing that many people shame on Boris and hancock
I know...I am outraged beyond the telling of it! None of it makes any sense at all!
Ann Dawson - I live in one of the restricted areas. We are tough Northerners here with a bit of common sense and something between our ears. So the Government is now going to punish us for not wearing masks and having the odd party. They are trying to break us, I can see that. They are frightened because they are starting to lose their grip on us. As with all totalitarian regimes, before their downfall they try to tighten the screw even harder with their 'rules' and 'mandates'. I'll be very interested to see how this one plays out, especially if the Government tries to lock the country down again.
Two words: 'Last straw.'
good to know...I'm Northern stock myself (Leeds originally) but live on the East Coast. I will also visit my daughter and grandkids when I want but I seriously believe that it will keep getting worse if we don't find a way to stop them. Sorry for the pessimism, I am doing my best to "rebel" where possible 😉
Just ignore it! I live in West Yorks. My son has just come to visit. I won't be told by Handoncock when I can see my own bloody family. It's not just on these sites where the absolute defiance is now surfacing: I was on a local newspaper site and the comments section was SCATHING about this. Not only that - but Handoncock has upset the RoP. Massive mistake...
UKFM - Greetings to Yorkshire from Lancashire. It was a lovely day today. Lots of visitors in people's gardens from what I could see. Telling people you can't sit outdoors with others in the fresh air in your own garden I've heard it all now. Makes you wonder what crackpot idea a they are going to come up with next. Anyway, as they say here, "we're not 'avin it."
I also think it was absolutely despicable that the Government brought these measures in just a couple of hours before members of our community were just about to start a big religious festival. That is downright nasty by anybody's standards.
An attempt to incite racial tension.
We need to lock down the government, maybe nothing will collapse without it? imagine a life without daily dose of the lies, just my
So if we did that and the governmet collapsed who would we rely on to fund our public services or other industrys big private coportions are they much better what would happen to the welfare system that a lot of people currently do depend on what kind of system would be in place to support the vaunerable and homeless
The vunerable and the homeless are a direct result of having a government. Its the creation of the system we live in.The system you think can never change. And its gonna more and more of them, cause the money its going one way only, quote george carlin here:its always money for war,but never a war on homelessness
I agree I am not supporting the system I am just asking what system would work better how do you get a fairer system with not all the money going to the top and it equally distributed and who holds people accountable
Suppose I didn't want to pay rent on the grounds that all the money is going towards a corrupt banking system that is based on a scam I would end up homeless without a place to live how do we create a system that is fairer
