Had a doctors appointment the first one in person for nearly a year. It Went surprisingly well I thought as I half expected them to refuse to see me at all, or end up calling security even.
Think the receptionist was a little taken aback when she asked, I said I don’t like masks so wouldn’t wear one, then she can came back and said would like to wear a visor instead. No I don’t support any of this I responded. Although you can still do the laser gun temperature check if it makes you feel better I said, in an attempt not to sound totally unreasonable, (they were doing this to people in front of me).
A phone call later the doc was ok to still see me, as it turned out he was a young guy in his mid/late 20’s in good shape wearing mask/face shield and all. A bit unnecessary I thought, while I avoided sharing my views about it as so many disagree it causes contention.
After the appointment I did thank him for seeing me before leaving.
So quite a positive day really, feels so much better to push back a little.
With so many negative stories thought I’d share a good one.
